Eva Sophia Shimanski is a quick, versatile, indefatigable leader, ever-ready to step into a high-pressure situation with a cool head. Her work in emergency response, search and rescue (SAR), and helicopter rescue training, has enhanced her ability to operate effectively in critical situations, and her background in computer science and global development studies has nurtured her structured yet adaptable approach to leadership consulting.
As an Associate Consultant at TGN Consulting, Eva Sophia specializes in managing complex projects, coordinating seamless client engagements, and delivering high-impact leadership development experiences. Her focuses include supporting program implementation, coordinating stakeholders, and streamlining operations. Eva Sophia’s ability to analyze complex systems, manage competing priorities, and implement integrated processes are essential to enhancing leadership effectiveness and organizational outcomes.
In addition to her role in the field, she works closely with TGN’s CEO, Kari Zeller, to drive day-to-day execution, ensuring that high-level priorities are met with efficiency and precision. She plays a key role in supporting leadership development initiatives, project delivery, and strategic operations.
Outside of her consulting work, Eva Sophia can be found sailing the Puget Sound or navigating mountains by foot, skis, or rope. She serves as the Executive Secretary for the Air Rescue Commission of the International Commission for Alpine Rescue (ICAR). She also designs immersive programs for college students in the Olympic Mountains, helping people learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. In business and nature, Eva Sophia is committed to equipping leaders with the clarity, resilience, and skills they need to succeed.
